Right of withdrawal
Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU)

You have the right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days without giving reasons.

The cancellation period of 14 days starts from the day on which you or a trusted third party, that is not the carrier, received the last item or items.

In order to use your right of withdrawal you have to inform us via a clear declaration (e.g. a letter or email) about your decision to cancel your contract. You may use our standard withdrawal form template for this, which is attached, this is, however, not compulsory.

Where it applies:

Vouchers and Gift Cards

For a general voucher not tied to a specific date, the rules are the following:

Vouchers are typically treated as standard online service contracts, meaning you have 14 days to withdraw.

 

Retail Products

For any spa products sold online, the directive applies fully: you have the right to cancel your contract with us within 14 days without giving reasons.

Exceptions: Hygiene rules apply. If a customer unseals a cosmetic product or damages the item in any way, they lose their right to return it for health protection reasons, and the withdrawal right would not apply to that specific instance. 

 

The "Leisure Exception"

Please keep in mind that the right of withdrawal does not apply to any specific appointments or treatment bookings.

For most services—like a room booking, massage or facial booked for a specific date and time—the right of withdrawal generally does not apply.

Under the Directive 2011/83/EU, "services related to leisure activities" are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period if the contract specifies a particular date or period of performance. There is no statutory right to withdraw from these specific bookings and the spa's cancellation policy applies.

 

Consequences for Cancellation

Myrianthousa Spa operates a 24hour cancellation policy.  Please inform the Spa of any cancellation or rescheduling of your reservation at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.  No shows will be charged the full amount of the treatment.
